About and FAQs
Daddy², creator of PinupLifestyle.com, AltCollective.com & RetroLifestyle.com, snapshot photographer, house dj, common sense consultant & friend to all!
- What's different about your sessions?
You won't get rushed from Hair & Makeup (H&M) into shooting so we could start work on the next girl. When you book your session, you're booking time with my whole team and our full attention for the entirety of your shoot. Artists I work with also provide on-the-set styling and have been personally selected for their top-tier artistry.
- What style do you shoot?
My style is raw, filmy, gritty, and sexy. I like to say that it has an editorial "snapshot" feel, and it is that way by design. I love harsh shadows, a lo-fi look with highly refined details. I prefer to shoot in front of cool or blank walls. Want pinup? Bring it out in your posing & wardrobe. Want alt, fetish, voyeur, mod, glam? Bring it! I shoot people and capture their energy in a shot.
Some experience is required. I don't make Barbie dolls in Photoshop so be comfortable with yourself and your body. When you're posing in front of a wall there are no props to distract your mind or hands, so bring the attitude, style and the energy! If you do want to use a prop, bring it! I feed off your style, not turn you into what I want to see in front of me. This means I may shoot digital or pull out film. I've even been known to use an iPhone!

- You're not planning a shoot at the Airport are you?
No, I always scout out killer boutique hotels, garages, or studios to shoot in while traveling. If a secondary location is scouted I may opt to explore that option after H&M.
- OK! How do I book my spot!?
When you're ready just contact me via the link below. We will coordinate the time slot and I'll send you a paypal request for the 50% deposit. When your slot is reserved we can then start talking style, wardrobe, inspiration, etc.

- Timeline is approximate. If you book multiple looks I place a ~4 month gap between your sets. You can’t always plan awesomeness. Friday was a hell of a day at work, but out of nowhere Katie McKinnon asks if I want to go see Gatsby at the Alameda theater. I jumped on the opportunity! We saw it in 3-D, the cinematography is ideal for 3-D so spend the extra bucks old sport!

10 years ago today…we held the annual Crossroad picnic, I was always about building communities and bringing only the coolest people together. I never wanted elitists that only loved imports or only domestics. We brought together true car lovers. As seen in the photo we had quite the variety. 4 years ago today…I rolled up to the beach in “Kryptonite” for a day of fun in the sun. She was gorgeous, I built it in the DC area to be a total California dream not knowing that I’d actually live here one day. Cream on the inside, Clean on the outside, Ice cream paint job. But don’t forget completely blacked out windows. I prefer to scare people into their homes as I roll down east bay streets as opposed to becoming a target.

9 years ago today…my very first social network CrossroadOnline.com was rolling strong in the mid-atlantic area. It was a place where one could openly enjoy both Imports and Domestics. On this day we held a large car show with the help of a local speed shop Excessive Motorsports and had a killer turnout. Everything from classic Mustangs to twin turbo Supras. My car at the time was “S1L1C0N” a 2001 Ford Mustang. Since then I’ve named all my cars in a similar fashion. “Pyrite” “Kryptonite” etc…
